(1) The 2019 Oregon Structural Specialty Code and State adopted appendices as published and copyrighted by the International Code Council, as modified and adopted by the Director of the State Department of Consumer and Business Services, are hereby adopted and incorporated as an ordinance of the City of Medford to be administered and enforced along with such further amendments contained herein, such code to be referred to as the Building Code. At least one copy of the Oregon Structural Specialty Code and appendices, comprising the Building Code, are on file in the City of Medford Building Safety Department.

(2) Section 114.5 of the Building Code is modified by adding the following:

“Penalties. Penalties for violations of the Building Code or any other code administered and enforced pursuant to Chapter 9 of the Medford Code shall be as prescribed in Section 9.661 of the Medford Code.”

(3) In addition to the appendix chapters listed in Section 101.2.1.1 of the State Building Code, Appendix B: Board of Appeals: F: “Rodentproofing”: H: Signs; and J: Grading, are adopted as published.

(4) Chapter 32: Encroachments into the Public Right-of-Way is hereby adopted as published.
