2.865 Delivery of the Summons and Complaint.

An officer issuing the citation shall cause the summons to be delivered to the person cited and shall cause the complaint to be delivered to the court. When a complaint is verified by a private person, the court shall cause the summons to be delivered to the defendant by a peace officer.
