(1) When a motor vehicle is immobilized in accordance with Section 6.950, a fee shall be charged by the City, in addition to all other amounts for which lack of payment has led to the immobilization of the vehicle. The boot removal fees are established in the most recent fee schedule approved by resolution of the City Council. For purposes of setting fees, normal business hours are defined as 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for City observed holidays. After normal business hours are defined as between the hours of 5:01 p.m. and 7:59 a.m. Monday through Friday and 24 hours a day on weekends and City observed holidays. The fee and all other amounts shall be paid before the vehicle is released.

(2) The parking restrictions of the City shall not apply to a vehicle so immobilized.
