The manager shall establish a position classification plan for all executive-professional and classified employees under his supervision and control. The classification plan shall include class specifications containing a class title, a description of work, examples of work, desirable knowledge, skills, abilities, and a statement of the desirable experience and training necessary to perform successfully the assignments of a position in a particular class. These specifications are to be descriptive and not restrictive as to work assignments or to working titles of positions.
